Introduction

Congratulations on choosing the PX845EV1 series mainboard! The PX845EV1 series
includes the PX845EV1 and PX845EV1 PRO and is based on Intel
chipset. It also supports Intel
of 400/533 MHz.
The PX845EV1 series provides 3 sockets using 184 pin DDR SDRAM with a total capacity
of up to 2 GB. You can install DDR 266/200 (PC2100/1600) SDRAM with the option of
using the BIOS Setup to over-clock to DDR 400.
The PX845EV1 series provides one AGP Slot for 4X (1.5V only) AGP cards.
The PX845EV1 series includes built in IDE facilities that support Ultra DMA 33/66/100
BMIDE and PIO Modes. The PX845EV1 series also comes with an AC'97 Sound Codec
(ALC650) which supports high quality 6 channel audio (Super 5.1 Channel Audio Effect).
The PX845EV1 series also comes with six USB 2.0 ports.
The PX845EV1 series also come with AGP protection which ensures that you only install
1.5V AGP cards.
PX845EV1 PRO also comes with a LAN Chip which supports a back panel LAN port.
The company's 3 Year Limited Warranty for this product covers both labor costs and
replacement parts during the 1st year. Only labor costs are covered during the 2nd and 3rd
years (replacement parts will be charged during the 2nd and 3rd years).
