On the application system, enter the following commands to enable the two
Veritas Cluster resources:
a. hares -modify mountpoint_resource_name Enabled 1
where mountpoint_resource_name is the name of the Veritas Cluster
mountpoint resource for the Oracle database files.
hares -modify application_resource_name Enabled 1
where application_resource_name is the name of the Veritas Cluster
application resource for the Oracle application.
b. hares -online application_resource_name -sys system
where application_resource_name is the name of the Veritas Cluster
application resource for the Oracle application and system is the name
of the active node.
hares -online mountpoint_resource_name -sys system
where mountpoint_resource_name is the name of the Veritas Cluster
mountpoint resource for the Oracle database files and system is the name
of the active node.

Aborting sessions

You can abort currently running sessions by clicking the abort button.
If, during a session, RMAN or SQL*Plus do not respond when requested, Data
Protector automatically aborts the session. By default, Data Protector waits for the
response for 5 minutes. Using omnirc or environmental variables
OB2_RMAN_COMMAND_TIMEOUT and OB2_SQLP_SCRIPT_TIMEOUT, you can
modify this time interval.

see the online Help index: "omnirc option". Note that environmental variables override
omnirc options.
