instance configuration file.
MML is invoked by the Oracle server when it needs to write to or read from devices
using Data Protector.
Configuring Oracle user accounts
Decide under which user accounts you want backups to run. Data Protector requires
the following user accounts:

Oracle operating system user account

For each Oracle database, Data Protector requires an operating system user account
that has Oracle rights to back up the database. This user account usually belongs to
the DBA user group (OSDBA user). The user account under which the Oracle database
is running has these rights. For example, to find such a user on UNIX clients, run:
ps -ef|grep ora_pmon_DB_NAME
or
ps -ef|grep ora_lgwr_DB_NAME
