This SAMSUNGbrand product, as supplied and distributed by Samsung ElectronicsAmerica, Inc.(SAMSUNG) and deliverednew,
in the original carton to the original consumer purchaser, iswarranted by SAMSUNG against manufacturingdefects in materials
and workmanship for a limited warranty periodof:
One (1)Year Parts and Laboron Refrigerator
Five (5) Years Parts and Labor on Sealed Refrigeration System Only*
(*Compressor,evaporator,condenser,drier, connectingtubing)
This limited warranty beginson the original date of purchase, and is valid only on products purchasedand used in the United
States. To receivewarranty service, the purchaser mustcontact SAMSUNG for problem determinationand service procedures.
Warranty service can only be performedby a SAMSUNGauthorized service center. The original dated bill of sale must be
presentedupon request as proof of purchase to SAMSUNG or SAMSUNG's authorizedservice center.
SAMSUNGwill repairor replaceany part found to be defective,at our option and at no charge as stipulatedherein, with new or
reconditionedparts duringthe limited warranty period specifiedabove. All replaced parts and products become the propertyof
SAMSUNGand must be returned to SAMSUNG. Replacement parts and productsassume the remaining original warranty,or
ninety(90) days, whichever is longer.
In-homeservice will be provided duringthe warranty labor period subjectto availabilitywithin the contiguous United States. In-
home service is not availablein all areas. To receive in-home service, the product must be unobstructedand accessiblefrom floor
levelto service personnel. If during in-homeservice repaircannot be completed, it may be necessaryto remove, repair and return
the product. If in-home service is unavailable,SAMSUNG may elect, at our option, to providefor transportation of our choice to
and from a SAMSUNG authorized servicecenter. Otherwise,transportation to and from the SAMSUNG authorizedservice center
isthe responsibility of the purchaser.
This limited warrantycovers manufacturingdefects in materialsand workmanship encountered in normal, noncommercialuse of
this product, and shall not apply to the following,including, but not limited to: damage which occurs in shipment;delivery and
installation; applicationsand uses for which this product was not intended;altered product or serial numbers;cosmetic damage or
exterior finish; accidents, abuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning or other acts of nature; use of products, equipment, systems,utilities,
services,parts, supplies,accessories, applications,installations, repairs,external plumbing and leaks, external wiring, circuit
breakers,fuses or connectors not supplied and authorizedby SAMSUNG,or which damage this product or result in service
problems;incorrect e lectrical linevoltage, fluctuationsand surges;customer adjustments and failure to follow operatinginstructions,
cleaning, maintenanceand environmentalinstructions t hat are coveredand prescribedin the instruction book; lossof food due to
spoilage;consumable itemsincluding filters and light bulbs.
THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIESOTHER THAN THOSE LISTED AND DESCRIBED ABOVE, AND NO WARRANTIES
WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,INCLUDING,BUT NOT LIMITEDTO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITYOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARPURPOSE,SHALL APPLYAFTER THE EXPRESSWARRANTY
PERIODS STATEDABOVE, AND NO OTHER EXPRESSWARRANTY OR GUARANTYGIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OR
CORPORATIONWITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCTSHALL BE BINDINGON SAMSUNG. SAMSUNG SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, FAILURETO REALIZE SAVINGSOR OTHER BENEFITS,OR ANY OTHER
SPECIAL, INCIDENTALOR CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES CAUSED BYTHE USE, MISUSEOR INABILITYTO USE THIS
PRODUCT,REGARDLESSOF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED,AND EVEN IF SAMSUNG HAS BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITYOF SUCH DAMAGES. NOR SHALL RECOVERYOF ANY KIND AGAINST SAMSUNG BE
GREATERIN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT SOLD BY SAMSUNG AND CAUSINGTHE
ALLEGED DAMAGE. WITHOUT LIMITINGTHE FOREGOING, PURCHASERASSUMES ALL RISKAND LIABILITYFOR LOSS,
DAMAGEOR INJURYTO PURCHASERAND PURCHASER'S PROPERTYAND TO OTHERSAND THEIR PROPERTY
ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITYTO USETHIS PRODUCT SOLD BY SAMSUNG NOT CAUSEDDIRECTLY
BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF SAMSUNG. THIS LIMITEDWARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTENDTO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE
ORIGINALPURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT,IS NONTRANSFERABLEAND STATESYOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.
