To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons when using your appliance, follow

containing wax or chemicals, such as mops and cleaning cloths. Flammable substances may
cause the fabric to catch fire by itself.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids near this or any other
appliance.
Do not allow children or pets to play on, in, or in front of the appliance. Close supervision is
necessary when the appliance is used near children and pets.
Before the appliance is removed from service or discarded, remove the door to the drying
compartment to prevent children or animals from becoming trapped inside.
Do not reach into the appliance when the drum is moving.
Do not install or store this appliance where it will be exposed to the weather.
Do not tamper with the controls.
t0. Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance or attempt any servicing unless specifically
recommended in the user-maintenance instructions or published in the user-repair
instructions that you understand and have the skills to carry out.
t 1. Do not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommended by the
manufacturer of the fabric softener or product.
t2. Clean the lint screen before or after each load.
t3. Do not use heat to dry articles containing foam rubber or similarly textured rubber-like
materials.
t4. Keep the area around the exhaust opening and surrounding areas free from lint, dust, and
dirt.
t 5. The interior of the dryer and exhaust duct should be cleaned periodically by qualified service
personnel.
t6. Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your dryer. Items contaminated with cooking
oils may contribute to a chemical reaction that could cause a load to catch fire.
t 7. This appliance must be grounded. See "Electrical requirements" and "Grounding" in the
"Installing your dryer" section.
t8. This appliance must be properly grounded. Never plug the power cord into a receptacle
that is not grounded adequately and in accordance with local and national codes. Refer to
installation instructions for grounding this appliance.
