Using the parental lock
This special feature locks the entire TV or one particular channel to
prevent others from watching it.

Set the timer
• Use parental lock
Use Super Quick View
Use Home Theater
Use ADJUST to select.
Then press ENTER.
Press MENU to return to
TV Main Menu.
Use Parental lock

Press the MENU button. The
TV Main Menu will appear.
Select Advanced Features

Select "Use parental lock" using
the ADJUST buttons; then,
press ENTER.
Select "Lock the TV" or "Lock
the channel" using the ADJUST
buttons; then, press the ENTER
button.
_>Important: If you turn the parental lock on, you cannot use the timer and you
will see a lock message when you try to use a locke(] TV or locked
channel.

Enter your personal code
using NUMBER buttons.
Then press ENTER to turn
the lock on.
Press MENU to return to
Advanced Features Menu.

This 1-V is locked.
Enter your personal code
using NUMBER buttons.
Then press ENTER to view
this TV
The message for locking the TV
will appear.
Enter a four-di_t secret code
us:[ng the number buttons (0-9);
7:hen press the LN3 E button.
You can clear the code by
pressing the C,_d_CEL button.
W:aen you set "]Lock the TV" to
"on," you will see a message the
next time you turn the televi-
sion on asking you to enter your
secret code. If you don't enter
the correct code within five
mi nutes, the TV will turn off.
