Aligning the colors

Your Mitsubishi Projection TV has three picture tubes and large
diameter lenses which are aligned to project light beams on the
screen. Each picture tube projects only one color; red, green or blue.
For the best picture, the three colors should be aligned at the
center of screen. Here is the procedure for aligning the color beams.

Set the clock
Memorize channels
Add/delete channels
Set A/V Network

Use ADJUST to select.
Then press ENTER.
Pres',_ MENU to return to
TV Main Menu.
Al_g_n colors
Press VIDEO to select
Red or blue. Then on
each screen press
ADJUST until the
crosshairs appear white.
Press MENU to return to
Firsl Time Set-Up Menu.

Select "First Time Set-Up"
using the ADIrUST buttons;
tlhen, press the ENTER button.
O _,elect "Align eolo:rs using the
ADJUST buttons; press EN-
TER.
The "Align co]Lors" screen will
appear. Press VIDEO to select a
color to align: red. or blue.
Use the ADJUST buttons to
align the color you selected (red
or blue) with the green lines.
When they are aligned, the
green line will turn white.
Next, use the VIDEO button to
select the other color (red or
blue). Use the ADJUST buttons
_:oalign the colored lines with
the green lines.

.After aligning both the red and
blue lines, press the MENU
button to return to the "First
Time Set-Up" menu.
You can also use the TEST button on the control panel to display
the "Align colors" screen or return to the normal picture.
The cross-bar pattern is intended for use only as an alignment aid.
It should not be left on for a long period of time, since it can dam-
age the picture tubes.
The alignment can change over time and may need to be adjusted.
If you notice a change in the color quality of the picture, cheek the
aligmnent with the test pattern and readjust as required.
