panel to turn the oven light on
and off. On select models the ovenLIGHT
oven light automaticallycomes
on wheneverthe ovendoor is opened.

Do not attempt to changethe rack posi-
tion whenthe oven is hot.
SETTINGTHE CONTROLSFOR
BAKINGAND ROASTING
1, Press Bakepad. The BAKE indicator on
the Bake pad will light, and 000 will lightin
display.
2, Pressor pressandholdtheMore+ or Less-
pad to selectoventemperature.
3500will light when either pad is pressed
and oventemperaturecanbe setfrom 170o
to 550 °.
3, There will be a four second delay before
oventurns on.Whenthe oventurns on the
OVENON indicatorwill light, and then the
PREHEAT indicator will light. The
preselectedtemperaturewill remainin the
display.
4. Allow8-15 minutesforthe ovento preheat.
A singlebeepwill indicate that theovenhas
preheatedand the OVENON indicatorwill
remainlit whilethe PREHEATindicatorwill
turnoff.
5. Placefood in the oven.
> Theoventemperaturecanbe changed
at any time by pressingthe More+ or
Lees-padfor thedesiredtemperature.
If anotherfunctionis displayed,press
the Bake pad,thenpressthe More+ or
Less- pad to select newtemperature.
6. Check cooking progress at the minimum
cookingtime and cook longer if needed.
7, PressCANCELpadand removefoodfrom
theoven.The BAKEindicatoron theBake
pad will turn off. The OVENON indicator
will turn off and the time of day will reap-
pear in the display.
If you forgetto turn off the oven, it will
automaticallyturnoff at the end of 12
hours. If you wish to deactivatethis
feature,see page 7,

Whenthe oven is in use, the vent and sur-
roundingarea may become hot enoughto
causeburns.Neverblocktheventopening.

center. Do not cover the drip bowl with
aluminumfoil. _
OVEN VENT
OPENING
Yourovenhastwo racks.Theyare designed
with a lock-stopedge
TO REMOVERACK: Pull rack straightout
untilit stopsatthe lock-stopposition;lift upon
the front of the rack and putlout.
TO REPLACE: Place rack on the racksup-
port in the oven; tilt the front end up slightly;
slide rack back until it clears the lock-stop
position;lower front and slide back into the
oven.
NOTE: Do not cover an entire rack with
aluminumfoilor placefoilon theovenbottom.
Bakingresults wilt be affected and damage
may occurto the oven bottom.
