OVEN
Clean only parts listed in this guide. Do not
cleandoor gasket.The gasketis essentialfor
a good seal. Do not rub, damage, or move
the gasket.
Do not use oven cleaners. No commercial
oven cleaneror oven liner protectivecoating
of any kind shouldbe used in or around any
part of the oven.
Beforeself-cleaning the oven, removebroiler
pan,ovenracksand other utensilsto prevent
excessivesmoking,discolorationofthe oven
racksor possibledamageto utensils.
Wipe up excessive spillovers, especially
greasy spills, before the clean cycle to pre-
vent smoking,flare-upsor flaming.
It is normal for the cooktop to become hot
duringa cleancycle.Therefore,avoidtouch-
ing the cooktop, door, window or oven vent
duringa clean cycle.
HEATING

NEVERtouch surface or oven heatingel-
ements, areas near elements,or interior
surfacesof oven.
Heating elementsmay be hot even though
they are dark in color.Areas near surfaceel-
ementsand interiorsurfacesof an oven may
become hot enoughto cause burns. During
and after use,do not touch or let clothingor
otherflammablematerialscontactheatinge!-
ements,areas nearelements,or interiorsur-
faces of oven until they have had sufficient
time to cool.
Other potentially hot surfaces include:
Cooktop,areasfacingthe cooktop,ovenvent,
and surfaces near the vent opening, oven
door, areas around the door and oven win-
dow.
CHILD SAFETY
NEVERleavechildrenaloneor unsupervised
in area where appliance is in use or is still
hot.
NEVERallow childrento sit or stand on any

or burned.
