Remove the three screws securing the system board shield to the system board and remove

the shield (see following figure). Disconnect the shield's legacy board interface cable from
the system board.
Remove the left and right side panels by pressing the top and bottom release tabs.

Label and disconnect the following cables from the system board (see the figure "System

LCD video cable from connector J14
USB1 cable from connector J12
USB2 cable from connector J22
LAN cable from connector J21
Legacy board interface cable connector J11
hard drive cable from connector J5
interface cable from connector J6
interface board power cable connector J9
operation board cable from connector J3
LCD power cable from the connector in the upper left corner.
Remove the four screws securing the heatsink to the system board and remove the heatsink

(see the following figure). Take care in handling the heatsink. Avoid touching the adhesive
side that faces the processor.
Remove the three screws securing the system board to the LCD unit.

Carefully slide the system board out from the retaining tabs on the left side of the LCD unit.
9.
Remove the system board from the LCD unit. Place the board on a clean, smooth, static-free
surface.
