Return the optical drive release button to its recessed position on the system base.
Note
To replace the optical drive, be sure to press the drive firmly into the drive bay to
secure it into the drive bay connector.

Rear Cover Removal

Remove the rear cover as follows.
If installed, remove the cover lock.

Release the rear cover by pressing in on the bottom edges of the cover (see the following

Carefully lift and remove the cover.
