Stitch formation

Since the top cover-stitch consists of a
combination of the cover-stitch with top
cover thread, we offer suggestions about
adjustment options that predominantly
refer to the cover-stitch.
3-needle Top cover, stitch program 23
If all the thread tensions are set correctly,
the needle threads (blue, green and red)
are almost invisible on the underside of the
fabric. The looper thread (purple) lies slack
between them.
The top cover thread (blue) lies slack
between the needle threads on the top
side of the fabric.
If there are protruding loops in the top
cover thread (blue).
Adjust the blue thread tension (45) of the
top cover to a higher setting.
The needle threads (blue, green and red)
are too loose and form small loops on the
underside of the fabric.
Adjust the blue, green and red thread
tensions to a higher setting.
