Before a fiber channel initiator port can be changed to target or RCU target, the following
must be performed:
All affected data volume pairs must be released.
All logical paths must be deleted from the initiator port to the remote storage system.
After logical paths are deleted, cables connecting the local system to the remote system
must be removed.
The number of hosts connected to a target port must be limited to 128 or fewer to avoid illegal
disconnection.

To define port attributes
1.
In Remote Web Console, select Actions > Remote Copy > Continuous Access Journal Z > DKC

In the Display box, select Port. The ports associated with the local storage system are listed.

Right-click the port that you want to change and select the desired port type, Initiator, RCU
Target, or Target).

Select all the port attributes that you want to change, review the Preview list.
WARNING!

To change the attribute that you set for a port attribute, right-click the port in the upper
right list and select the attribute.
To release a the modification that you made for a port attribute, right-click the port in the
Preview list and select Delete.

Click Apply to apply the settings. If an error occurs, the error code appears in the rightmost
column of the Preview list. To view detailed information about the error, right click the error
code and select Error Detail.
