Description
Mode 593 ON: The multiprocessing of the communication command issued from MCU
to RCU is up to 128 pairs per DKC.
Mode 593 OFF: The multiprocessing of the communication command issued from MCU
to RCU is up to 1024 pairs per DKC.
The host I/O response might decrease while the Continuous Access Journal Z pair is
resynchronized. To suppress increase in the MP utilization rate by the differential bitmap
retrieval processing when resynchronizing the pair, set this mode to ON. You can
reduce host I/O response by setting this mode to ON.
Mode 760 ON: Decrease in host I/O response during the Continuous Access Journal
Z resync operation is reduced.
Mode 760 OFF: Normal operations are performed.
Use this mode in the Continuous Access Journal Z extended consistency group
configuration.
In the case where Business Continuity Manager issues the Flush request to the primary
data volume of the Continuous Access Journal Z pair, and the Continuous Access Journal
Z pair receives the suspend command, if you want to reflect the data up to the time
specified in the command to the secondary data volume, set this mode to ON.
Mode 762 ON: When the Continuous Access Journal Z pair receives the suspend
command, the data up to the time specified in the suspend command is reflected to the
secondary data volume.
Mode 762 OFF: The time stamp of the latest data received in each restore journal group
may be different. In this case, the time stamps of data in restore journals are compared,
and data up to the oldest time stamp is reflected to secondary data volumes.
