complete and setup menu is displayed.
Memory Cards
• Format memory cards in the camera before first use.
• Do not perform the following during formatting, while data is being written to or deleted from tile
memory card, or during data transfer to a computer. Failureto observe this precaution could result
in tile lossof data or in damage to tile camera or memory card:
- Take out the battery or memory card
- Turn offthe camera
Disconnect the AC adapter
• Do not touch tile card terminals with your fingers or metal objects.
• Do not apply force to tile card casing. Failureto observe this precaution could damage tile card.
• Do not bend, drop, or subject to strong physical shocks.
• Do not expose to heat, water, high levels of humidity, or direct sunlight.
Formatting Memory Cards
Usetile camera Format memory card option to format memory cards.Performance may drop if
cards are formatted in a computer.
[] The Write Protect Switch
Memory cards are equipped with a write protect switch to prevent
accidental lossof data. When this switch is in tile "LOCK"position,
photos cannot be recorded or deleted and the memory card cannot be
formatted.
Unlock by sliding tile switch to tile "write" position.
