The shutter will synchronize with an external flash at speeds of 1/200s or slower.
i-TTLflash control carl be used at ISOsensitivities between 100 and 1600. Higher values may not
produce tile desired results at some ranges or apertures. If tile flash-ready indicator blinks in the
viewfinder for about three seconds after a photograph is taken in PTTLor Non-TTLauto mode, tile
flash has fired at full power and the photograph may be underexposed.
The %-400, %-800, and %-600 provide red-eye reduction, while tile %-800, %-600, and SU-800
provide AF-assistillumination (tile SU-800does not provide AF-assistillumination in close-up mode).
Auto power zoom is available only with %-800 and %-600 Speedlights.

For each one-step increase in sensitivity (e.g.,from 200 to 400),aperture is stopped down by half an
f/-stop. If the maximum aperture of the lens is smaller than given above, tile maximum value for
aperture will be tile maximum aperture of the lens.
When TTLRemote Cord SCq7, 28, or 29 is used for officamera flash photography in PTTLmode,
correct exposure may not be achieved with PTTLBalanced Fill-Flashcontrol. We recommend that
you select standard PTTLflash control. Take a test shot and view the results in the monitor.
In PTTLmode, use tile flash panel or bounce adapter provided with tile Speedlight. Do not use other
panels such asdiffusion panels, astills may produce incorrect exposure.
