Charging and Inserting the Battery
1.4 Charging is complete when tile CHARGE lamp stops blinking.

Remove tile battery from the charger and unplug the charger.

Insert the battery.
2.1 After confirming that the power switch is in
the off position, open tile battery chamber
cover.

Removing
the Battery
Turn the camera off and confirm that the memory card access lamp is off before removing
the
battery.
The Battery and Charger
• Readand fo//ow the warnings and cautions on pages ii-iii and 164-166of thismanua/, together with
any warnings and instructionsprovided by the battery manufacturer.
• Do not use tile battery at ambient temperatures below 0 °C (32 °F)or above 40 °C (104 °F).During
charging, tile temperature should be in tile vicinity of 5-35 °C (41-95 °F).For best results,charge
the battery at temperatures above 20 °C (68°F). Batterycapacity may drop if the battery is charged
or used at lower temperatures.
• The battery may be hot immediately after use. If so, wait for tile battery to cool down before
charging.
• Replacethe supplied terminal cover after removing tile battery from tile camera or tile quick
charger to avoid shorting tile battery.
• Unplug the quick charger when it is not in use.
