Optimize
exposure
for the overlay
by
pressing the multi selector up or down to
select the gain for image 1 from between
0.1 and 2.0.
The default value is 1.0; selecting 0.5 cuts gain in half,
while selecting
2.0 doubles gain. The effects of gain
are visible in the Preview
column.

Press the multi selector
left or right to
highlight
Image

PressOK to display a photograph selection dialog
again.
Repeat steps 3-5 to select the second photograph
and adjust gain.

Press the multi selector
left or right to
highlight
the Preview
column,
When Overlay is selected and
OK
is pressed,a
preview of tile overlay image will be displayed.
Proceed to step 8.
When Save is selected and OK
is pressed,the
overlay image will be savedwithout a preview having been displayed.

Check the preview
image and press OK.
The overlay image will be savedand the monitor
display will exit to full-frame playback.

Image Overlay
• Only RAWphotographs created with the Dd0 carl be selected for image overlay. Other images are
not displayed on the selection screen.
• The overlay has the same photo info (including date of recording, metering, shutter speed,
aperture, exposure mode, exposure compensation, focal length, and image orientation) and values
for white balance and optimize image asthe photograph selected for Image 1.
