Lens
An AF-SDX NIKKOR18-55mm f/3.5-5.dGVR lens ([] 185)is used in this manual for illustrative
purposes. The AF-SDX Zoom NIKKOR18-55mm f/3.5-5.dG ED IIlens carl be used in tile same
manner, but it is not equipped with the vibration reduction (VR)function. When using the other
lenses,refer to tile User'sMdinu_/provided with tile lens.

with an aperture ring, lock aperture at the minimum
setting (highest
f-number).
Refer to the User's Mdinu_l provided with tile lens for details.

Detaching
Lenses
Be sure the camera is off when removing or
exchanging
lenses. To remove the lens, press and
hold the lens-release button ((1}) while turning the
lens clockwise (q2j). After removing the lens, replace
the camera body cap and rear lens cap.
