Charging the Battery Pack

if the DC OUT cable is connected to the AC
adaptor/battery charger, disconnect it.
Insert the AC plug into a wall outlet.
*The OPERATE indicator will light up.

USING THE AC ADAPTOR/

BATTERY CHARGER
Precautions:
If used near a radio, the AC adaptor/battery charger may
l
interfere with reception.
Prevent flammables, liquids, and metal objects from
l
entering the unit.
This is a sealed unit. Do not attempt to open or modify it.
l
Do not damage, drop, or subject the unit to vibration.
l
Do not leave the unit in direct sunlight.
l
Avoid using the unit in humid or extremely hot places.
l
If the power source becomes disconnected during
l
recording, playback, or other operations, the tape will
remain wrapped around the drum, possibly causing
damage to the tape.
Reconnect the power source to the main unit
immediately.

is normal for the battery pack and charger to warm up

Cautions:
Charge only SHARP model BT-L1 or BT-L1 1 battery
l
packs Other types of battenes may burst, causing
personal injury and damage
The battery used in thus device may present the nsk of a
l
rise in surface temperature and/or the release of
flammable vapors.
Do not incinerate or mutilate. Replace battery with BT-L1
and BT-L1 1 only. Use of another battery may present a
risk of fire or explosion.
