Using EPSON Drivers and Utilities for Macintosh

Color Management Settings

The following tables list the color management settings available when you
choose either Color Adjustment, PhotoEnhance3, or ColorSync.
Color adjustment modes
Automatic
Analyzes the color information in your image and optimizes
color correction accordingly.
Photo-realistic
Produces sharper images and more vivid colors by
automatically adjusting the contrast, saturation, and
brightness. Corrects for overall under- or over-exposure of
the original image.
Vivid
Intensifies colors and lightens the midtones and highlights.
Best for print jobs with non-photographic images.
No Color
Disables color management in the printer driver. Choose
adjustment
this mode if you want to use a standalone color
management utility.
PhotoEnhance3 settings
Tone
Lets you choose from Normal for standard images, Hard
for high contrast, and Sepia for an old-fashioned look.
Digital Camera
Corrects noise and other flaws common to digital camera
Correction
images.
Sharpness
Sharpens the focus of your image.
ColorSync Rendering Intent settings
Perceptual
For photographic images. Maintains the relationship
between colors as it scales them to fit within your printer's
color gamut.
Saturation
For charts and business graphics. Maintains the relative
saturation of colors from one gamut to another.
Colorimetric
For projects with known colors, such as labels and
packaging. Maintains colors that fall within the gamut of
both your monitor and printer.
