Connecting to the IEEE 1394 (FireWire) Port

To connect through the printer's IEEE 1394 port, you need a standard
shielded IEEE 1394 cable. Follow the steps below to connect the printer to
your computer.
1. Make sure both the printer and your computer are turned off.
2. Connect one end of the IEEE 1394 cable to one of the IEEE 1394 ports
on the back of your printer.
3. Connect the other end of the IEEE 1394 cable to your computer's
IEEE 1394 port.
When done, continue with the instructions on page 1-26.
