TROUBLE SHOOTING--
MOTOR
Excessive noise.
NOTE: Motors used on wood.working tools are particularly susceptible tothe accumulation
of sawdust and wood chips and sho_Jid be blown Out or"vacuumed"
frequently to prevent
interference with normal motor ventilation.

CAUSE
TROUBLE
Motor fails to develop
full power. NOTE:
LOWVOLTAGE: (Power
outputof motor
decreases rapidlywith
decrease in voltage at
motor terminals. For
example, a reductionof
10% involtage causes a
reductionof 19% in
maximum poweroutput
ofwhich the motor is
capable, anda reduction
of20% in voltage causes
a reductionof 36% in
maximum power output.)
Motor starts slowly
or fails to come up
to fullspeed.
Motor overheats.
Motor stalls (resulting
