dialling mode
The dialling mode requires you to inform the
modem of what type of phone line you use.
Pick up and listen to sound coming from
your phone, then press '0'. If you hear a
tone, then the value to choose is TONE. If
the sound is intermittent, (on - off - on - off)
When selected this option can be adjusted using
dialling prefix
Your television may be situated in a place where its
use and viewing is communal - e.g. offices, schools or shops.
If this is its environment, your prefix, (the number
dialled to obtain access to an external telephone line),
needs to be ENABLED. Use the RIGHT/LEFT buttons
to adjust the value and see 'prefix number' below.
NOTE: The dialling prefix is automatically set to DISABLE. If
