3.2.1 Multi-chip type
The radiated light emitted from the LED array is reflected by the docu-
ment, and passes through the rod lens array to be received by the photo-
transistor array.
The sensor circuit board has a built-in driver circuit for amplifying the out-
put of the received light, and the output of that driver circuit is converted to
serial data to be transmitted to the system controller.
