The nVDO signal is sent after a fixed period after this nBD signal has been
sent. Accordingly, the image can be drawn correctly on the photosensitive
drum as scanning always starts from the same position for each line.

• Correct transfer of images to the recording paper
The image on the photosensitive drum must be transferred to the recording
paper. During this transfer, the leading edge of the image on the photosen-
sitive drum must be made to match the leading edge of the recording paper.
For this reason, the nTOP signal is required for controlling the start of the
image, that is, the scanning start position of the first line of the image. The
first line of the image is sent after a fixed period of time from this nTOP
signal.
