READING SECTION

1. INTRODUCTION

This chapter describes the reading section of the facsimile.
At the reading section, a document comprising two or more sheets is fed
one sheet at a time to the image sensor (e.g. contact sensor) where it is
read, and the resulting image data undergoes image processing.
