Printing the Time/Date Stamp

To print the TIME stamp:
Press
FUNCTION
symbol
appears in the place in which you have your cursor. If it does not fit, you will receive this
error message: "Cannot Fit."
The time prints on your label in 12-hour, AM/PM format, for example, 1:30 PM or in 12/24 (military
time) format, for example, 13:30.
To print the DATE stamp:
Press
FUNCTION

appears in the place in which you have your cursor. If it does not fit, you will receive
this error message: "Cannot Fit."
The date prints on your label in dd/MON/yy format. For example, 17/JAN/07.
Note: The time and date stamp reflects real time. Therefore, the time and date printed
on a label reflects the time at printing (unless you have toggled unlock access for
changing the time or date manually).

Setting Units

The printer allows you to view both label measurements and font sizes in a variety of units.
To change default units:
Step 1.
Press

MENU
Step 2.
Press
, then press
NEXT
Step 3.
Select default units. The display screen shows the current unit settings.
Label Units: Inches
Font Units: Points
• To change the default unit for label measurements, press

Inches, millimeters, and points refer to the height of a character.
