Setting Your Graphics Configuration

1. Power on your system and set the console device.

NOTICE:
a.
Make sure that the monitor(s) are powered on.

Hold the SBC's reset/abort switch in its Abt position, then turn on power to the
VMEbus card cage.
The following sections are separated into Model 744 instructions and Model 743
instructions. Please follow the instructions for your SBC model.

These instructions allow you to set the console device to any
installed graphics device that has a monitor connected or to a
terminal connected to the serial port.
For the Model 743 SBC, the initial selection is not saved in stable
storage. Complete all the steps given here to permanently set the
console path. The Model 744 SBC saves the initial setting as the
console device.
