Just below the toolbar is the job information box, which includes the job title,
printing status, application name, filename and either estimated print time or a
message. For details about messages, see "Getting Messages", later in this chapter.
The rest of the Printer Status Window may have the following components,
depending on how you customize the display:
An animated picture that shows your computer, printer, and the
page-by-page status of a document as processed and printed by the Windows
Printing System.
A progress bar that shows how what portion of the job has been printed.
A status bar displaying the current printer mode.
The Printer Status Window always shows the title bar, menu bar, toolbar, and job
information. Whether it includes the graphic and progress and status bars depends
on what you specify with the View menu.
This chapter describes and illustrates the Printer Status Window with
NOTE
all components selected.
