Testing the Connections

Connect the interface cable between the PC and printer.
Make sure the READY light is on. This is an indication that all connections are in
order.

An interface cable is not supplied with the printer.
If you do not have a cable, purchase one separately from your supplier.
For best performance and guaranteed bi-directional communication, use a good
quality, shielded, parallel cable with IEEE 1284-compatible pin configuration.
