Remove the two flat-headed M2 x 4-mm screws that secure the

modem to the system board, and set them aside.
Lift the modem out of its connector, ensuring that you do not pull

on the modem cable.
Pull on the modem cable connector to disconnect the cable from

the modem.
Lift out the modem.

Connect the modem cable to the new modem and tuck the cable

beneath the modem.
NOTICE: The modem cable connector is keyed for correct insertion; do not
force the connections.
Align the modem with the screw holes and press the modem into its

connector on the system board.
Install the two flat-headed M2 x 4-mm screws to secure the modem to

the system board.
