Application logs are not updated until the logs are opened.
External Loop diagnostic may show incorrect result
If an External Loop test is run on a port and the required external loopback plug is
not inserted into that port, the test result should show the test as failed. However, it
shows the test as incomplete. The Event Log correctly shows the Loopback diagnostics
port failure event.
Switches with API and ACP enabled may not be discovered by HAFM
For a new installation of HAFM, a switch with API and ACP features enabled may
not to be discovered by HAFM.
Workaround
Do not enable API or ACP before adding a switch for discovery by HAFM.
Issues with SANtegrity and the McDATA 4Gb SAN Switch
Enterprise Fabric Mode cannot be activated on a fabric of only McDATA 4Gb SAN
Switches, or mixed fabric in Open Systems mode with SANtegrity enabled.
When attempting to deactivate Switch Binding with Enterprise Fabric Mode enabled,
no message displays. A message should display stating that Switch Binding cannot be
deactivated while Enterprise Fabric Mode is enabled.
Switch Binding is deactivated when Enterprise Fabric Mode is deactivated for McDATA
4Gb SAN Switches.
Displayed Fabric WWN may be incorrect when disabling Fabric Binding
for multiple fabrics
When enabling or disabling Fabric Binding on multiple fabrics, the wrong WWN may
display in the Fabric Name box of the Fabric Binding status window.
HAFM installation issues
After HAFM software installation, the client does not automatically launch. The user must
manually launch the client in order to complete the installation steps including entering
the serial number and license key.
The cursor may stay at the Yes option even though you selected the No option in the
copy data and settings menu step of the installation.
If an installation path other than the default path is selected for remote client installers, a
subfolder should be created specifically for the remote client. This is to avoid uninstalling
other non-HAFM files in the installation folder when uninstalling the remote client.
