5. Attach another screw loosely in the hole on the inside face of the rear mounting
bracket.

6. If you are installing the sliding shelf into an:
— HP 9000, 10000 or 11000 series cabinet, proceed to
Brackets (HP 9000, 10000 and 110000 Series Cabinets
— HP rack system/e or 19-inch EAI cabinet, proceed to
the Shelf" on page 10–4.
Replacing Front Brackets (HP 9000, 10000 and 110000 Series
Cabinets Only)
For the HP 9000, 10000 and 11000 series cabinets, you must remove the existing front
bracket and install a longer front bracket for the sliding tray to function properly.
Perform the following steps:
1. Remove the existing front brackets from the tray assembly:
a. Unscrew the captive fastener (1) from the front bracket (2) as shown in
Figure
b. Remove the front bracket from the tray assembly by removing three flat-head
screws as shown in
