ATENCIÓN
LOS ELECTRODOS DE LAS BUJÍAS
MONTADAS EN ESTE VEHÍCULO SON
DE PLATINO. PARA LA LIMPIEZA NO
UTILIZAR CEPILLOS METÁLICOS NI
PRODUCTOS ABRASIVOS; USAR EX-
CLUSIVAMENTE UN CHORRO DE AI-
RE COMPRIMIDO.
Leyenda:
- electrodo central (3);
- aislante (4);
- electrodo lateral (5).
Controlar que los electrodos y el
aislante de la bujía no presenten
depósitos de carbón o marcas
de corrosión; si fuera necesario,

limpiar con un chorro de agua a
presión.
La bujía debe sustituirse cuando presen-
ta: grietas en el aislante, electrodos co-
rroídos, depósitos excesivos o electrodo
central (3) con la punta redondeada (6).
CUANDO SE SUSTITUYE LA BUJÍA,
CONTROLAR EL PASO Y LA LONGI-
TUD DE LA ROSCA. SI LA PARTE
ROSCADA ES DEMASIADO CORTA,
CAUTION
THE ELECTRODES OF THE SPARK
PLUGS INSTALLED ON THIS VEHICLE
ARE PLATINUM ELECTRODES. DO
NOT USE METAL BRUSHES AND/OR
ABRASIVE PRODUCTS TO CLEAN
THE SPARK PLUGS. USE ONLY A
COMPRESSED AIR JET.
Key:
- central electrode (3);
- insulator (4);
- side electrode (5);
Check that the electrodes and
the insulator of the spark plug do
not show signs of carbon depos-
its and corrosion. If required,
clean them using a compressed
air jet.
Replace the spark plug if its insulator is
cracked, the electrodes show signs of
corrosion or excessive deposits, or the
top (6) of the central electrode (3) gets
rounded.
WHEN REPLACING A SPARK PLUG,
CHECK THE PITCH AND LENGTH OF
THE THREAD.IF THE THREADED
