Contracts include many dates that can be important to track. For example, you might want to know
when a contract is about to expire or when leased hardware is scheduled for delivery. To automate
this tracking process, you can enable e-mail notifications for important dates.

24.1 Specifying an E-Mail Server
For date notifications to be sent, your ZENworks
its e-mail server. You configure the e-mail server on the Configuration > Management Zone Settings
> Event and Messaging > SMTP Settings page.
24.2 Configuring Default Settings
Before you can create a notification for a contract date, you must configure the default date
notification settings. When you create a date notification, the notification is populated with the
default settings. You can then customize the settings as necessary.
1 In ZENworks Control Center, click Asset Management > Contract Management > Date
Notifications.
