Instructions:
1. Before beginning the installation, please read the instructions thoroughly. If any of the listed hardware is missing, please stop
the installation and call your distributor inmediatelly.
2.- Nerfstep set consist of a driver and passenger side. Be sure to determine the correct side before installation.
3.- Locate and remove 4 rubber plugs at the front and rear of the vehicle on the inside of the vehicle rocker panel, as shown in
Picture 1.
4.-Insert bolt plates into de oval openings in the vehicle rocker panel, before place bolt plates. Place the front and rear main
mounting brackets up to the bolt plates, making sure that the long end of the main brackets is the top as shown in Picture 2.
Secure the front and rear main mounting brackets to the bolt plates using 3/8" flat and lock washers and hex nuts.
5.- Locate, remove and discard the front body mount bolt from the vehicle. Place the front auxiliary bracket onto the body mount
bolt and re-attach using M12 x 120 mm bolt and 1/2" flat washer. Picture 3. Do not tighten at this time. Repeat this process for
the rear auxiliary bracket. Note 1: Due to the variation of vehicle body mounts, the use of 1-2 H.D. flat washers may be required
to space the front body mount bolts to avoid bottoming out the bolts into the body. Note 2: For model 2006, the cabinet
mounting bolt requires a higher strength to untighten the bolt; and to attach the big flat washer , Picture 5.
6.- Place the nerfstep up to the front and rear main brackets. Align the front main bracket, front auxiliary bracket, and the front of
the nerfstep and then secure them together using a 1/2 x 2" hex. head bolt, flat washer and lock washer. Picture 4. Repeat this
process for the rear of the nerfstep.
7.- Make any final adjustments to the alignment of the nerfstep and then tighten all of the fasteners until snug. Repeat for
passenger side.
8.- You may need to periodically re-tighten the fasteners on your Nerfstep.

Protect the finish with a non-abrasive automotive wax, (e.g. Pure Carnauba) on a regular basis. The use of any soap, polish, or
wax that contains an abrasive is detrimental to the finish, as the compounds scratch the finish and cause corrosion.
