- Page 5 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FIGURE 1 Step-1 Install (1) 1/4” x 3/4” hex bolt for every rail bracket in the channel of every crossbar that will be facing up the rail plates. (Fig 1). Step-2 Align the bolts with the rail plates slots. Place the rails on top of the crossbars.
