- Page 2 TYGER TIRE GUARD PROCEDURE: REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED. DRILLING IS REQUIRED. STEP 1 Remove the spare tire. Open the rear door and remove the vent cover from the door (Fig 1). Unplug the wire harness leading to the 3rd Brake Light.
- Page 3 TYGER TIRE GUARD STEP 5 STEP 4 Attach the Tire Carrier to the center of the door with the included (8) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (8) 8mm Lock Washers and (8) 8mm Flat Washers (Fig 8). Do not fully tighten hardware. Attach the right side of the Carrier and Shims to the upper and lower hinge Select the Tire Carrier (Fig 6).
- Page 4 TYGER TIRE GUARD STEP 7 Next, use the included (6) 8mm x 35mm Countersunk Bolts to attach the (2) Hinge Mounting Bases and (2) Swing Limit Blocks to the body (Fig 10). (6) 8mm x 35mm Countersunk Bolts (Fig 12) Adjust door position and tighten hardware.
