IMPORTANT NOTE:
Go to
www.extron.com
before connecting the product to the power source.
This guide provides instructions for an experienced installer to install the Extron NAV E 111 DTP3 streaming encoder and to make
all connections. The Extron NAV encoder and one or more compatible decoders form an AV distribution and switching matrix on a
managed 1G (1 Gbps) IP network.
NOTE:
For more information on any subject in this guide, see the NAV E 111 DTP3 User Guide, available at www.extron.com.

DTP3 input port — Plug a compatible Extron DTP signal into this RJ-45 port using a TP cable (see

on page 5 to wire the connectors).
ATTENTION:
• Via power over DTP, the encoder can remotely supply 48V power to a connected DTP3 transmitter or 12V power to a
legacy DTP transmitter. Selecting the incorrect power over DTP voltage for the connected transmitter can damage the
transmitter. See the NAV E 111 DTP3 User Guide, available at www.extron.com, to select the correct remote power
output.
• Do not connect this port to a computer data or telecommunications network.
