Basic Call Handling

This section covers basic call-handling tasks such as placing, answering, transferring, and conferencing
calls. The features you use to perform these tasks are standard and available on most phone systems.

Placing a Call

If you want to...

Answering a Call

Ending a Call

To end a call, hang up the handset.

Then...
Lift the handset and dial the number.
Lift the handset and press
Press and hold (for about 2 seconds) the number on your keypad that you
assigned as a speed dial number.

Then...
Pick up the handset.
When you hear the special call waiting tone, answer the higher-priority
call.
