Battery replacement
When replacing the battery, only use a replacement battery pack supplied by Data Harvest (Product
No. 2036). (Full instructions on how to replace the battery will be supplied with the replacement battery
pack).
Updating EASYSENSE VISION's firmware
Occasionally Data Harvest may release updated firmware which will contain improvements or new
features. Firmware updates and instructions on how to upgrade will be made available from the Data
Harvest website.
To determine the version of firmware and software and release your VISION is currently using select
About from the Help menu.
Warning:
User data and setup files will be erased as part of the update process. Please ensure that
you have transferred all user files stored on VISION to a memory stick or PC before updating.
VISION as an interface via Bluetooth
Setting VISION to be discoverable
The VISION firmware must be Release 4.3 or higher. If not upgrade its firmware.
Connect a Bluetooth Smart USB adaptor (Product No. 2070 or 2071) to the
USB host port on the VISION.
Select Apps from VISION's Home screen and double tap on the Bluetooth
icon.
VISION's screen will alter to show its Bluetooth enabled.
If you want to change the name of the logger select Settings and type in a new name.
When connecting to Windows computer
V3.8 or later of the EasySense Windows software must be installed on the computer. An operating
system of Windows 7 or above is required.
Note: You will require two Bluetooth Smart USB adaptors (Product No. 2070 or
2071), one for the VISION and one for the computer to make this connection.
Connect a Bluetooth Smart USB adaptor to the USB port on the Windows computer. The adaptor
is a plug and play device whose drivers
Start the EasySense software on the PC.
