Priority
Displays the priority level of the update source.
The priority numbers are used to define the
order in which the host tries to connect servers.
Virus definition updates are downloaded from
the primary sources first, secondary update
sources can be used as a backup.
The product connects to the source with the
smallest priority number first (1). If the
connection to that source fails, it tries to connect
to the source with the next smallest number (2)
until the connection succeeds.
To add a new address to the list, enter the url to
the Address field and define the priority level of
the new address. Click
the new entry to the list.
HTTP Proxy
Use HTTP Proxy
Use an HTTP proxy server to download
database updates.
HTTP Proxy Address Enter the HTTP proxy server address.
Periodic updates
Automatic updates
Define (in minutes) how often the product
interval
checks the virus definition database update
sources for new updates.
Intermediate server
Define (in minutes) the failover time to connect
failover time
to specified update servers.
If the product cannot connect to update servers
during the specified time, it retrieves the latest
virus definition updates from F-Secure Update
Server if Allow fetching updates from F-Secure
Update Server is enabled.
