Riskware scanning
Scan for riskware
Select whether files should be scanned for
riskware during the real-time scanning. The
riskware scan detects suspicious applications
when they are installed or run on the system.
Select the primary and secondary actions to take when a riskware is
found. The secondary action takes place if the primary action cannot be
performed.
By default, the primary action for riskware is Report only and secondary
action Deny access. Choose one of the following actions:
Report and deny
Displays and alerts about the found riskware
access
and blocks access to it. No other action is taken
against the riskware. View Alerts to check
security alerts. For more information, see
"Alerts", 38.
Rename
Renames the riskware file and removes its
execute permissions. Renamed riskware file
stays on the computer, but it cannot cause any
damage.
The renamed file has .riskware extension.
Delete
Deletes the riskware file.
Deny access
Blocks the access to the riskware file, but does
not send any alerts or reports.
Excluded Riskware
Exclude specified riskware from the scan.
Use the following format to specify riskware you
want to exclude and separate each entry with a
semicolon (;)
