Paper menu

Use the Paper menu to define all settings relating to print material input
and output, as well as the specific print material you are using with your
printer.
Item
Copies
Values: 1 ~ 999
Set the default number of copies by selecting any
number from 1 to 999. The default is 1.
Tray 1MPT
Values: A4, A5, A6, JIS B5, ISO B5, JIS B6,
Size
Letter, Legal, Executive, No.10 Env., Monarch
Env., DL Env., C5 Env., C6 Env., US Folio,
Oficio, Statement, US Postcard, Index Card,
Custom Size
Select the paper size currently loaded in tray.
• Custom Size: You can configure the size for your
own custom paper. Set the width from 98 mm to
216 mm, and the height from 148 mm to 356 mm.
You can select the unit either millimeters or
inches. See Cm or inches item on page 2.7 to
configure the unit.
Tray 1MPT
Values: Plain Paper, Bond, Transparency,
Type
Envelope, Labels, Card Stock, Preprinted,
Color, Cotton Paper, Recycled, Thick, Thin,
Custom1, Custom2, Custom3, Custom4,
Custom5
Select the paper type currently loaded in tray.
Tray 2 Type
Values: Plain Paper, Preprinted, Color,
Recycled, Thick, Thin, Custom1, Custom2,
Custom3, Custom4, Custom5
Select the paper type currently loaded in tray.
Tray 3 Type
Values: Plain Paper, Preprinted, Color,
Recycled, Custom1, Custom2, Custom3,
Custom4, Custom5
Available only when optional tray is installed. Refer
to the Tray 2 Type to select the paper type.
Paper
Values: Tray 1(MPT), Tray 2, Tray 3,
Source
Manual Feed, Auto Select
Using this item, you can set which tray you want to
use.
• Auto Select: The printer can automatically
determine the source.
• Manual Feed: The printer uses Tray 1(MPT).
• Tray 3: Available only when optional tray is
installed.

Bypass MP
Values: Off, On
Tray
If a paper mismatch occurs in Tray 1(MPT), you
can set whether to stop printing or continue to print
ignoring the error.
If this menu item is set to On, the printer will
continue to print regardless the paper mismatch
error of Tray 1(MPT).
Tray
Values: Off, On
Chaining
When you select any other value except Auto
Select from Paper Source and the selected tray is
empty, the printer automatically prints from other
trays.
If this menu item is set to Off, the Status LED lights
red and the printer doesn't work until you insert
paper into the specified tray.
