AU: RAPIDlink SIM integration To Ajax Hub 2 & Hub 2 Plus

Before you start, you will need a RAPIDlink User profile & Company account.

1. Already have a RAPIDlink User profile and Company account – Continue to Step 4.
2. No RAPIDlink User profile? Click on https://au.rapidlink.com/sign-in/register and fill out our form. Then proceed to Step 3.
3. Call us on (02) 9352 1777 and the Permaconn sales team will assist you in setting up a Company account, we will then link your User profile to the Company account.
4. Login to RAPIDlink portal https://au.rapidlink.com ;
   Sign in using one of the following:
   • Login credentials
   • Apple ID
   • Google
     
5. Select "RAPIDlink SIM" on the navigation page.
   
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Add SIM".
   
7. Type in the 6-digit SIM serial number, then click "Add".
   
   SIM card has been added to your RAPIDlink company profile and you now need to select a data pack – Go to Step 8
8. Search for RAPIDlink SIM then click on the serial number.
   1. Click on the pencil and add a custom name to the SIM service.
      
   2. Click on "Data Packs and Top-Ups" then "Change Data Pack" to add the required data pack, then click "Next".
      

Ajax Hub 2 & Hub 2 Plus - SIM Installation

Remove the Smart bracket mounting panel by sliding it down with force. Do not damage the perforated portion, as it is needed to trigger the tamper protecting the hub from dismantling.

Connect power and Ethernet cables to the appropriate sockets and install SIM cards.

1. Power Socket
2. Ethernet Socket
3. Sim Slot 2 (Secondary SIM)
4. Sim Slot 1 (Primary SIM)
   Insert RAPIDlink SIM in Slot 1

9. Open the Ajax PRO app then select the appropriate Hub. Ensure this Hub has internet connectivity using Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
10. Tap the settings icon ( ) to configure.
11. Tap on "Cellular"
    1. EnableCellular Data".
    2. Tap on "SIM 1".
       1. Enter APN Details - Telstra.m2m
12. Press "Back" and Cellular settings will be saved.
13. RAPIDlink SIM and Ajax Hub cellular configuration completed.

Troubleshooting APN Settings

• If the settings do not save or an error occurs, verify that the APN parameters are entered correctly. Incorrect details will not be saved.
• If the APN is correct but settings still do not apply, adjust the following options in the "Cellular Settings".
  • Enable"Roaming".
  • Enable"Ignore Network Registration Error".
  • Enable"Disable Communication Check with the Operator".
  • Press Back to save the changes.
