Certain limitations may apply. These limitations could be the result of the operating temperature range of installed configurable components (e.g., SFP+ module, SSD and PCIe add-in card). Kontron only supports using SFP+ and SSD modules rated for an industrial operating temperature range (-40 º C to +85 º C).

Platform cooling and thermal management When powering up the ME1210 at the lower end of the extended temperature range, it is normal for the system to take some time for preheating before completing the initial boot sequence. Once powered up and in operation, the system will dissipate enough power to stay warm. The warm- up delay of the deep cold start is a rare event that could occur only at the initial power-up or after a power outage in a cold environment.
