DANGER
Automatic start-up. Disconnect utility power and render
unit inoperable before working on unit. Failure to do so
will result in death or serious injury.
NOTE: The control panel is intended for use by qualified
service personnel only.
NOTE: See Power Zone 410 Controller technical manual
for operation on RA units.
IMPORTANT NOTE: With control panel set to AUTO,
engine may crank and start at any time without warn-
ing. Such automatic starting occurs during the pro-
grammed exercise cycle or when utility power source
voltage drops below configured level. To prevent
possible injury which may occur during sudden
starts, always set control panel to OFF and remove
the 7.5 amp fuse from the control panel before work-
ing on or around the generator or transfer switch. For
added security, place a DO NOT OPERATE tag or
placard on both the control panel and transfer
switch.

Use Up arrow or Down arrow to select ei-
ther Yes or No.
Press ENTER.
Set Exercise Time.
Use Up arrow or Down arrow to incre-
ment or decrement the hour. Press
ENTER.
Use Up arrow or Down arrow to incre-
ment or decrement the minute. Press
ENTER.
Use Up arrow or DOWN arrow to scroll to
the day of the week. Press ENTER.
Fuel Type Selection.
Use UP or DOWN arrow to index the cor-
rect fuel type.
Press ENTER.
Select the correct fuel based on the fuel
connected at the installation site.

Activation and Startup
Select YES to perform exercise at low
speed. Select NO to perform exercise at
normal operating speed.
In AUTO, the engine starts and runs once
each week at the time and day specified.
During the exercise cycle, the unit runs
approximately 12 minutes and then shuts
down. Transfer of loads to the generator
does not occur unless utility power fails.
