8. Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the prod-
uct.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the pack-
aging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be
recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.

Layout
m WARNING: All installation and refitting work may
only be carried out with the mains plug removed.
m Attention!
Always make sure the product is fully assembled be-
fore commissioning!
You require the following for assembly:
1x Open-ended spanner, size 13/15 (A)
1x Open-ended spanner, size 6/8 (B)
1x Phillips screwdriver (not included in the scope of
delivery)
9.1 Assembly of splitting wedge and protective
cover (Fig. 2)
1.
Remove the two screws from the recess for the
splitting wedge (3) with a Phillips screwdriver.
2.
Place the splitting wedge (3) in the recess provid-
ed and fasten it with the two screws. Use a Phillips
screwdriver for this.
3.
Unscrew the clamping screw of the protective cov-
er (2a) completely. Make sure that the nut inside
the protective cover (2) does not fall out.
4.
Place the protective cover (2) on the riving knife
(3) so that the hole in the protective cover (2) and
the slotted hole in the riving knife (3) are aligned.
5.
Screw the clamping screw protective cover (2a)
back in.
9.2 Mounting the diamond cutting disc (Fig. 3, 4, 5)
1.
Loosen the transport lock (8) and move the sliding
table (4) all the way forward.
2.
Put the open-end spanner size 6 (B) on the span-
ner size at the end of the motor shaft (12).
