H. Multiple Media Handling Options
The imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750 printers offer two (2) media feed
options.
1. Manual feed – Top-feed, Front-output (Manual feed using media locking
lever).
2. Roll Feed – One roll, Top-load, Front Output. Two and three-inch core
adapters are included to accommodate Canon roll-stock media. The
printers also include a built-in rotary media cutter.
I. 80 GB Hard Disk Drive
The built-in 80 GB HDD increases the imagePROGRAF iPF755/iPF750
productivity by relieving workload from the host PC while providing a large
capacity for print job data storage, and retrieval.
This 80GB HDD enables job data to be stored in protected mailboxes for easy
access via a web browser or at the printer for job re-printing.
Among the HDD security features include providing end-users an option to
not save jobs to the shared mailbox. This mode is useful when managing
confidential print data. After the print jobs are fully and correctly printed, the
data is erased from the HDD.
J. imagePROGRAF Printer Driver
The imagePROGRAF printer driver works with both Windows and Macintosh
operating systems.
Features:
• Easy-to-use preset document profiles (examples are Poster, CAD,
Photo).
• Borderless printing.
• Automatic print quality options dependent on print application and media
• The Real Preview feature lets users ensure that the print setting and the
layout on the roll paper is correct by providing a real time preview,
allowing users to change the print setting even after clicking on "print".
• The Free Layout feature enables nesting and custom layouts of images
or files of nearly any type (available for both Windows and Mac driver).
• The imageRUNNER Enlargement Copy feature (a hot folder solution to
print Color imageRUNNER PDFs directly without opening in a PDF
viewer) built-in to the printer driver lets users transfer data from their
Color
imagePROGRAF printer enabling users to easily create posters from
hard copy documents.
• The Economy Print Mode produces draft prints on plain paper while
reducing the total ink consumption. This new feature regulates the use of
each ink tank to produce high-speed output with significantly less ink
usage.
